These are hern's paintings from the collection of Still lives and Object of times. they are the paintings of many unimportant objects but meaningful to him.

In the object of times collection, leftover objects such as bottle's cap, color spray can, pieces of wooden board, etc. were used on the painting to emphasize their unimportance and worthlessness as they are considered as junks but become remarkable on the paintings and so memorable to the artist.

These are hern's paintings during 2004-2005. the inspiration and concept were intended to visually and technically seperate painting into 2 parts in order to compare and tell the opposite sentiments of thing as it is common and true.
he had also clarified about the 3-part painting that means his confusion toward things

Play - music through art

Play is the title of hern's artwork from Music Through Art exhibition at Art Republic Gallery,bangkok and still on til the middle of this month
This work shows his life with music through the painting of his stereo at home. the ipod wire, loud speakers,part of his lamp
and a light bulb are installed in this painting so you can really play your ipod or turn on the lamp like sharing his music vibe together
this work still relates to his idea of art as the touchable thing against the old concept of
"please do not touch" in the museum.

งานชิ้นนี้เล่าเรื่องวิถีชีวิตของพี่เหิรกับเสียงเพลงผ่านทางเครื่องเสียงที่บ้านเครื่องนี้ รูปนี้มีการต่อสายไอพอด, ลำโพงและติดโคมไฟเข้าไปในงาน ผู้ชมจึงสามารถเสียบไอพอดของตัวเอง เข้าไปเพื่อฟังเพลงได้ และเปิดไฟจากโคมไฟที่วาดไว้ได้ด้วย เหมือนการได้ร่วมรู้สึกถึงบรรยากาศดนตรีผ่านสิ่งเดียวกัน
งานชิ้นนี้ยังไม่ืิ้ทิ้งคอนเส็ปเดิมของพี่เหิรที่ต้องการให้งานศิลปะจับต้องได้
ไม่ต้องติดป้าย "กรุณาอย่าจับ" เหมือนที่เราเห็นทั่วไปในพิพิธภัณฑ์

Printing Exploration

A senior Thai artist named Prawat Laucharoen who has long time
resided in New York came visiting his homeland and ran
the printing workshop 2 weeks ago in Chiang Mai.
He came encouraging and lecturing about the freedom of
printmaking in terms of technique and vision.
Hern attended the workshop with many artists and art students.
In the workshop, people were allowed to explore and create
any new ways of printmaking and exhibited their works
at the end of the project.

ได้ถือโอกาศมาเยี่ยมเชียงใหม่จึงมีการจัดสัมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการ
ชื่อ printing explorationขึ้น เมื่อสองสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา
อ.ประวัติได้แนะนำและสนับสนุนให้ผู้ที่เข้าร่วมเวิร์คช็อปได้มีอิสระในการทำงาน
ภาพพิมพ์โดยไม่ต้องยึดเทคนิคหรือกรอบความคิดแบบเดิม
งานนี้ผู้ที่เข้าร่วมเวิร์คช็อปเลยได้วาดลวดลายสร้างสรรค์กันอย่างเต็มที่
โดยเหลือแค่แกนบางๆของนิยามการทำภาพพิมพ์ไว้

Among 3-4 exhibited venues, Hern's new place, gallery see scape,

was one of them. the exhibition was called " Printing Exploration"

and the artists who had attended this workshop are Hor-sapan-kwai,

Kitikong Tilokwattanothai, Luck Maisalee, Marut Dhamaboonrueang,

Patri&Chakrit Chimnok, Pongdej Chaikoot, Torlarp "hern" Larpjaroensook,

Udom Taepanich, Yupa Mahamart.

Hern had used his Honda S90 motorbike as the key to his printing work

with the basic of papier-mache techniques and named it "shedding the past memories".
