Hern just came back from bangkok having a piece of art work exhibited in this exhibition " music through art" run by art republic gallery which is located in penninsula plaza.
his work was sold on the opening party but it will be there until next month.. Bravo!!

Hern is Torlarp Larpjaroensook, a Thai artist who resides in Chiang Mai. He was born in 1977, 9th of December and started the art education at College of Fine Arts, Bangkok at the age of 16 then graduated from Fine Art Faculty, Chiang Mai University with the Bachelor's degree of Visual Art in Painting and Print Making. He is also interested in art and design.
In his paintings, mixed media technique is always used to emphasize the concept of "Functional Art" which found objects are added with different values and transformed into usable art piece.
Later on, the idea of “Functional Art” becomes more concrete since he had designed and built his own house including almost all of the furniture inside. According to this, he had gained his interests in designing and this is where “Hern Shop” had started.
"Hern shop" is the Functional Art shop located in Gallery See Scape area, Chiang Mai. It is the alternative choice for people who keen for the different and free-styled life. Besides his works, there are also works from different other artists.
Moreover, Gallery See Scape is also an open art space for any creative ideas such as art exhibition, workshop, filming, performances,etc.
